About Steve Heywood

Originally from the greater Los Angeles area, he migrated to beautiful Pleasant Grove, Utah to be close to family and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds Utah County. Even as a young boy he exhibited a passion for art and spent many years exploring humorous illustration and fine art. That passion eventually led him to graphic design where he currently enjoys working with marketing teams to develop brands and communicate through beautiful and thoughtful design.

Currently, Steve serves as lead designer on SeroVital, a 60 million dollar a year brand, at Basic Research. He also assists on other brands such as NovexBiotech, Zantrex, and Relacore. He has recently found enjoyment in the world of product visualization and develops 3D product renders for all the previous mentioned brands.

Steve has drawn inspiration from many different sources, the short list of those who have influenced his artistic outlook are as follows: Charles Shultz, Chuck Jones, Dr. Seuss, Gary Larsen, Salvador Dali, Michelangelo, Milton Glaser, Mossimo Vignelli, Danny Elfman, and The Beatles.

Steve loves games of any shape or form and especially enjoys playing pickleball. With the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in his backyard, day hikes with the family are also a favorite. He loves amusement parks, a good movie with a bowl of popcorn, museums, minding his chickens, and a good hot fudge sundae.
